Do you make multiples of your gnomes?

I design and handcraft each adorable gnome to be unique and have its own personality, and while most are one-of-a-kind, sometimes I’m able to find great sales and purchase multiple sweaters and can offer multiples of that gnome style. With that being said, if you see a gnome that you love, you should grab it, because it’s unlikely that you will be able to find it again.

What size are your gnomes?

I offer two sizes of gnomes:

Standard – 2.5” – 3” at the base and 10” – 21” tall

Small – 2” – 2.5” at the base and 6”-12” tall

Each gnome listed will have the dimensions noted in the description.

The photo shows their size next to a soda can for scale. I always think that my gnomes photograph and appear larger than they are in pictures, maybe because of their big personality. 🙂

What are your gnomes made from?

I handcraft each gnome from a wide range of materials: fabric, felt, fleece, high quality, 100% new sweaters, faux fur and other items. (I love shopping and finding great deals on new sweaters, so I’m blessed to be able to do two things that I love… shop and make gnomes.) I’ve transitioned from using bagged and sealed rice at the bottom for stability to recycled poly pellets offering a more secure and stable base.  The bodies are then filled with poly-fil. When your gnome arrives home, set your gnome on its shelf and carefully adjust its base around to make sure he’s sitting up straight.

Are your gnomes appropriate for children?

Adorable gnomes are meant to add joy and color to your home decor and are not made to be a toy. Each gnome contains small parts that may cause a choking hazard. They are designed to sit on a desk, table, mantle or shelf and to bring a smile to your face every time you glance at them.

Do you offer custom orders?

At this time, I’m am not accepting orders for custom gnomes. However, I love hearing suggestions for gnomes I should make in the future, so please feel free to email me at adorablegnomes@gmail.com with ideas!

Where are you located?

I design and create each gnome by hand in my smoke-free home studio, located in Rochester, Minnesota. While we do have pets in our home, they are not allowed in my studio to ensure a pristine work environment.

What are your shipping costs?

It is a flat fee of $7 for shipping. I offer free shipping for orders over $60, so treat yourself and buy a bunch of gnomes. Priority shipping is available for a flat fee of $14. Currently, I only ship within the USA.

Do you offer international shipping?

International shipping is not offered at this time due to the high VAT taxes, custom’s fees and shipping costs, but I may revisit this issue in the future.
